How do I contact a homestay host?

You must be logged in as a guest to contact a host. If you do not yet have an account, register for free.

Step 1 — Find a host

Search for homestay listings using the search on the home page. Browse the results and open a listing that interests you.

Step 2 — Send a message

Scroll down the listing page to the Contact section. Type your message in the text area and click Send.

Your message will be delivered to the host's inbox on the site, and they will receive an email notification to let them know.

Step 3 — Wait for a reply

When the host replies you will receive an email notification. Log in and go to your Inbox to read and respond.

Tips for a good first message:
  • Introduce yourself — your name, where you are from, and why you are coming to Dublin
  • Mention your intended arrival and departure dates
  • Ask any specific questions you have about the accommodation
  • Be polite and friendly — hosts receive many enquiries and a warm message stands out
No contact form visible? You may not be logged in, or the host may have temporarily hidden their listing. Try logging in and refreshing the page.
